A quality lodging for four people in a charming country setting. It has been carefully restored with natural and organic materials and carefully-chosen decoration.
\nOriginal stonework can be seen both inside and out, and we used eco-friendly paints for the rendered wall surfaces.<\/p>\n

The chestnut ceiling and floorboards are treated with eco-friendly oils and dyes and most of the furniture is either restored or antique.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Upstairs there are two rooms- one with a double bed and another with twin beds- and a bathroom with natural light.<\/p>\n

The cozy rooms have high ceilings and skylights that fill the spaces with light. The original stone is visible on some of the walls, whilst the chestnut of the floors and ceilings gives the sensation of warmth. They have been decorated with care and attention to details, using old, restored furniture from the family or given by friends in the village.<\/p>\n

The bedding is 100% cotton and linen, partly organic –www.bishopstontrading.co.uk<\/a>– with down duvets and pure wool blankets.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\nThere are native oak, beech, chestnut and ash woods nearby. You do not have to use your car to go for a walk in the countryside.<\/p>\n<\/div>
